This rock is a world-famous climbing spot. It is also a nature reserve for many birds. It is a very welcoming and cosmopolitan town, where many typical Spanish festivals take place: cow races ('bous al carrer'), Moors and Christians'; festival ('Moros i cristians', in October), and many festivals in honour of the Virgin Mary... Its status as a tourist destination is due, above all, to the quality of its beaches and fine sand. The old town is a discovery with its tourist points of interest. The fishing port has a lively image and in the many restaurants you can taste fish and seafood from the area.
